I have been working at Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very dynamic environment, a very supporting team, tools and training provided to succeed, the pipeline is provided to you as NACA is a membership organization with a unique mortgage product and concept, the pay is very competitive with incentives to make a six figure income for meeting goals and opportunities to travel and help people. If you are dynamic, goal driven and result minded, this job can be fulfilling and financially rewarding

    Cons

This is not a job for the faint of heart, or someone used to a slow paced environment, this is not a job for someone who just wants to clock in and out and be paid hourly, there is a higher ramp-up period, and a permanent base, but most of the income will come from reaching performance goals which are very attainable, particularly for someone familiar with the mortgage industry, or working in a performance driven environment.

    Advice to Management

The management team does an overall great job, but with the rapid growth of the organization, they can use more people in local and middle management; to train and promote staff to management roles more regularly to prevent shortage in the management team.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America in January 2016.

    Interview

I had two phone interviews with HR people. Then an in-office interview with the local manager. All very nice people. I also had to take a couple of personality and sales tests, including some basic math questions.
