I worked at Neighborhood Centers (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people here are very nice to work with. They also offer training in I.T as well.

    Cons

Assignments to technicians are complicated. Every scheduled event was usually done on a last minute basis, and gives very little time to prepare for major events. I hope they have changed this way of coordinating events with new technicians sine I left the position.

    Advice to Management

please make the event coordinator more responsible for providing all presentations to the technicians in ADVANCE, so the technicians are not chasing down the coordinators for all power point presentations.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Neighborhood Centers (Houston, TX) in July 2016.

    Interview

I was called back twice to interview-overall the interview went well-I've worked with Head Start for over 15 years-experience and a great leader-when you say you want CHANGE-Be about it or the high turnover rate will continue and staff will always feel at the bottom.
