I worked at Nemacolin Woodlands full-time
It was awesome to be able to get out on the golf course everyday and improve the golfers' scores by giving advice on where to place shots and reading their putts. You meet new people every single day, which keeps the job from becoming boring and redundant.
It is a lot of physical strain on your back and legs for the first few weeks to a month, but you eventually become used to it. Your tip at the end of the round can vary based on the golfers' scores and how seriously they took it (i.e. a golfer taking a bad round too seriously leads to less of a tip than you would have received otherwise).
Advice to Management
I wish caddies were on a normal schedule. You could be cycled through, which would stop favoritism from the caddie master choosing the caddies they like the best.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Nemacolin Woodlands (Uniontown, PA) in March 2014.
I heard about the position through my cousin and I applied online. I received a call about a week or so later from them saying they were interested in me and wanted to do a phone interview. I had the interview on the spot and at the end of the call, they gave me a formal offer.
