I have been working at NeoFirma full-time (More than a year)
Lean staffing structure affords ample opportunities for "wearing many hats” - great for professional growth
Company has solid customer base, great at making continuous product improvements based on feedback
Fantastic work/life balance; felt very supported in terms of my growing family and personal commitments
CEO/senior management very involved, most with diverse and relevant backgrounds in software, oil and gas and small business management
Managing timelines can be a challenge while juggling custom enhancement requests with overall product roadmap
Current market conditions are volatile, and budget cuts at E&P companies can complicate sales cycles
Advice to Management
Technology and strategy are solid - as client and investor base continue to expand, hang on to values and culture that set company apart. Continue to hire knowledgable people who value being part of a growing organization and who want to grow along with it.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at NeoFirma (Dallas, TX) in February 2016.
The interview was in person it lasted about an half an hour. Interview went good but at the end they seem to be not satisfied.Started with academic projects and the internship which I done in the university. Then gradually went through the core related part the programming. I was pretty good at Java but they required a person who is good at Microsoft technologies like C#, C++ etc.
