    Office Manager Interview

    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Neptune Society (Columbus, OH) in October 2015.

    Interview

I applied online through indeed.com and received an email from a recruiter. After speaking with her and finding out what the job entailed, she encouraged me to research the company further and set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. I spoke with the hiring manager and she was very friendly and concerned about the role being a good fit for both of us. I was making a major career change and had been with my previous company 12 years. This led to alot of questions about the industry itself. She really took her time and set me at ease about the transition by sharing her personal experience about the company. Her transparency was refreshing. I was more than a candidate pool selection. We also had a skype interview as a second round due to travel restrictions. She gave me a timeline for follow up and within days I had the offer to join the company!
