Benefits Package*

Nestlé Purina offers medical, dental, and vision benefits packages to meet a variety of health needs. These packages include options for family and domestic partners. Pet Adoption Program

Paid Time Off and Holidays

Associates earn paid time off each month to use for sick leave, family illness, vacation, or personal reasons. Nestlé Purina provides regular paid holidays each year.

Onsite Medical Center 

Associates at our Headquarters have the ability to visit our on site medical center for minor illnesses (colds, flu, etc). Our medical center also offers flu shots and yearly health screenings as part of our HealthWorks preventative programs.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP provides easy, free, confidential access to professional counselors trained to help with a variety of personal or family problems.

Counseling, Education Resource & Referral Services  

This service offers information and referrals on adoption resources, prenatal care, child care and elder care services, parenting, educational opportunities and a variety of personal / convenience services.

    I have been working at Nestlé Purina PetCare full-time (More than a year)


    Accepting an offer from Nestle Purina PetCare was one of the best decisions I've ever made! The company atmosphere is very unique. They offer employees the freedom to be creative and form their own careers while still having an established system for career advancement. The corporate team is very supportive, especially of those in the management development program. Working at a manufacturing plant provides a fast-paced environment with many opportunities to become involved quickly. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience thus far and am looking forward to a future here at Nestle Purina.


    There are some "cons" to working at a manufacturing facility for NPPC. The Management Development Program, while providing leadership experience within one year of employment, also expects those in the program to be able and willing to relocate at any moment. Relocating to other plants in the company gives employees in the management development program the opportunity to move up in the company quickly with increasing amounts of responsibility, but can be difficult for some people to do.

    Advice to Management

    My advice to management is to continue to support the company employees and provide them with freedom and flexibility while having an established corporate structure.

    I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Nestlé Purina PetCare (Saint Louis, MO).


    Phone screen which included a resume review and a few behavioral based questions. The in person interview was behavioral one-on-one's. As long has you have situations to discuss, the interview will not be difficult.
