We want you; if you have a genuine interest in IT, always aim to find smart solutions, and are creative and social. You have a Master’s degree or corresponding. You have excellent language skills within at least one of the following languages; Swedish, English, German, Norwegian, Finnish or French. We would like to see that you are one of the best in your area of expertise. We work within all parts of IT, from management to system development.

The criteria in the recruitment process are based on COMPETENCE, CREATIVITY and BUSINESS SENSE.

Only the best will receive an offer to join Netlight. The interview process consists of three stages.

In stage one; you will meet a person who works within Talent Search and Talent Management at Netlight. The focus is to decide if you and Netlight would make a good match.

In the second stage, you will meet a senior consultant at Netlight who will evaluate your competence and skillset.

In the third stage, you meet with a partner at Netlight who will ensure that you are the right person for Netlight, i.e. have the competence, creativity and business sense required in order to get an employment offer.

The criteria in the recruitment process are based on COMPETENCE, CREATIVITY and BUSINESS SENSE. These are the same qualities that are the foundation of your career development at Netlight.

  • EDGE COMPETENCE CELLS – Netlight’s Competence Cells are the core of EDGE. The Competence Cells are established to provide intelligence and to make certain Netlight’s consultants are up-to-date and have the required competence at the same time as they are challenged and motivated to learn more. The Competence Cells are also responsible for making sure the knowledge and competence is shared and applied throughout the organization and the different projects.

  • EDGE SEMINARS are held monthly with the objective of spreading knowledge throughout the organization. The seminars are conducted by Netlight’s Competence Cells as a workshop or presentation and are led by an expert in the relevant field. The experts come from both within and from sources outside of the company

  • EDGE ACADEMY is arranged every year for one spring week as a concentrated knowledge exhibition covering the collective knowledge of Netlight. During this week a number of seminars and workshops are arranged with focus on hands-on professional development.

  • EDGE CONFERENCE is held each year and is the peak of EDGE. EDGE Conference looks into the future and during the Conference the members discuss new upcoming technologies and determine what EDGE should focus on the coming year. The speakers at the Conference are key decision makers at companies and organizations who excel in their branch and industry. Netlight invites all our consultants as well as our clients to participate in the Conference. The speakers and participants at the EDGE Conference offers a vital dimension to our work to constantly gain new knowledge, share existing knowledge and challenge ourselves to new exiting fields and technologies.

    - Netlight offers a huge competence bank for those who want to take part of it but you have to invest your own time and effort to grow. A person who does not strive for personal development and taking part of and sharing their own competence to the Netlight network might not be a perfect fit for Netlight.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Netlight (Munich, Bayern (Germany)) in November 2016.


    In the fall of 2016, a recruiter contacted me. We had a nice chat and I was invited to the interview process. There were 3 on-site interviews: first with HR, then a technical one, and the last one with a manager. The whole process spanned 3 weeks. Before the last interview, they asked me to prepare a Netlight CV - an extended version of my usual CV with detailed information about every project I've ever been involved in. I passed all the stages successfully, getting a positive feedback each time from the recruiter. After the last step, I was asked whether I would be ready to accept an offer from them. I agreed because the company seemed to be very nice, dynamic and innovative. In 2 days I got a reject. It turned out that couldn't find the right project for me (I don't speak German, so it was the main reason).

    Even though the company seems to be really nice, they have really big troubles in communication between their recruitment team and the management. I wasted 3 weeks, passing all the interviews. In the end, I got rejected because they couldn't find a right project for me. It could've been done in the very early stages and it would save my time and efforts (I never pretended to speak German fluently and I was rather clear about it).
