The stages of safe cloud enablement


See all cloud apps running in your environment and assess their risk. Get details like compliance certifications, security and audit features, business continuity capabilities, and legal terms that make an app enterprise-ready…or not. Quickly measure spend on unsanctioned apps and identify redundancies.


Drill into activity- and data-level usage details. Answer questions like “Are any unauthorized users downloading PII from any of our HR apps?,” or “What sensitive content do we have in our sanctioned cloud storage app, regardless of when it was uploaded?” Detect anomalous behavior that could signal compromised credentials, non-compliant behavior, or even malware. Create activity audit trails following a suspected event.


Rather than block apps, enforce granular policies like “Block sharing if it’s to someone outside of the company” or “Encrypt any PII found in our sanctioned cloud storage app.” These policies let you say “yes” while addressing the real risks. And don’t forget to coach users with automated messages to create transparency. Let them talk back by reporting a false positive or entering a justification.
