I worked at New Corp full-time (More than a year)
Met some really cool people, recognition for fields you excel in, great team based environment.
Focuses more on call time than content, pushes hard for email fulfillment. Focuses too much on call stats and not enough on results. I've had dozens of customers ask for a direct number to me becase I was courteous and effective in resolving every issue, but was fired because of call mettics.
Advice to Management
Focus more on what the call accomplishes than how long it takes. I was on the DirecTV side, and was known amongst the teams add the go-to tech guy, since I could fix almost any tech issue, and would fix evert issue the customer had. That takes time. I was fired for my long call times in spite of my very low callback rate.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at New Corp (New Home, TX) in November 2013.
I applied online and was notified the same day that i was selected to move to the next process. 2 days later i had a phone interview it back back to back behavior questions, lucky for me I studied interview questions and answers. After the phone interview i was told i passed the interview and watch out for an email for next steps. 2 days later i got an email to attend orientation which explained the job. After that its paperwork and more paperwork that is all time sensitive. You also have to take a drug test and get a I9 notarized.
You will also have IT meetings to make sure your computer and equipments meets the requirements. You have to work evening and weekends. They have full 8hr shifts and 2/4hr shifts. Training is 10-7pm ESt and $9.50hr.
