I loved the environment, so many excited concertgoers and amazing music to listen to. I learned a lot about customer service and how to manage ushers!
There were no downsides at all! The only one I can think of is that they downsized the coat room which was our meeting place!
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you are doing, this was one of the best work environments that I have ever had the pleasure of being involved with.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at New England Conservatory of Music (Boston, MA) in February 2011.
Started with a phone interview followed by an in-person interview. The phone interview was a group interview, where they asked mainly about your resume and how your past experiences pertain to the current job description. There was a slight wait in between the phone interview and in-person interview, but the first attempt made to followup had a pleasant reaction from the hiring manager. Interview experience was normal, with no questions growing out of the blue. They really made an effort to make sure you were the right fit.
