    Positive Outlook

I have been working at New Mexico Consortium full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People are here because they want to be. Everyone has a voice. Everyone is respected and listened to. Few employers will bend over backwards to try to make the best they can for their employees. Great benefits.

    Cons

There's not much work here. Sometimes in an organization with soft money, it's hard to find extra funds to do projects, but they do the best they can.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New Mexico Consortium (Saint Louis, MO) in April 2012.

    Interview

    - Review of Resume and evaluation of experience and publications quality.
Academic interviews are mostly about achievement and how comfortable you are presenting your work. So once you know exactly what to present for the specific skills the employer is looking for, I just tailor my answers with support with my publications to fit those requirements for the job.
