New Western Acquisitions is one of the fastest growing investment real estate firms in the nation. We are in a very niche market as we are not on the traditional side of real estate or the commercial side of real estate. This company started in the heart of the recession in 2008, and since then we have grown to 11 offices nationwide with 7 of our offices here in Texas in major metropolitan areas and have over 150 associates and counting.


We break apart the traditional real estate model and allow our associates to be able to focus on their success one step at a time, starting in sales and then moving to acquisitions and from there management roles. We only promote from within and our promotions are based upon performance so this allows someone to move up as quickly as they would like, or if they prefer to take the full year (which is the average time) to be promoted they can do so as well. Our training is second to none simply because we sit with each individual associate and tailor their training specifically to them. We buy and sell on average at least 30-40 properties per month in each office, which allows an associate to be very hands on with multiple properties at a given time. An average associate can learn more here about real estate in their first 6-12 months than 3-5 years somewhere else because the fast paced, fun environment that we provide. We don't just hire anyone - we only hire the best of the best. And we pride ourselves on that.

Sales Associates play a crucial role in our success as they are constantly meeting with investors and building fast relationships while consistently closing deals.

• Making outbound calls to potential investors & setting in office meetings to better understand their long term investment goals

• Presenting & selling company acquired properties by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects recommending solutions for their investment strategies
• Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues

The position available is in our sales department which consists of the disposition of investment properties to our network of investors. These associates will work closely with investors consulting them through the purchase process, rehabilitation of the property, exit strategies and potential equity or profit of each investment.

    I worked at New Western full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I worked for New Western Acquisitions for about 9 months and really enjoyed my experience. I cant speak highly enough of the leadership, at least in my office. You go to work every day with your friends. You work so closely with these guys that they become some of your good buddies. The office GM's are particular about who they hire and make sure you will fit in before making any decisions. I found that we had great team chemistry and I could share just about anything with my co-workers. My bosses were guys I felt comfortable coming to with any issue, even non work related ones. Real estate can be a shady business and I can honestly say I never once saw the leadership, or team, engage in any unethical behavior. I have even seen good deals passed up in order to abide by the rules. Every day was a competition, but an amicable one. Not only was the leadership focused on bettering the office, but the individuals in it. You learn the importance of goal setting and organization. They have an annual "corporate" getaway that is a blast. We often had office competitions to better us as people. For example we had a voluntary office fitness competition. Its was fun and we all were all better because of it. These guys like to have fun. Work hard play hard pretty much sums up the mentality of most NWA team members. At the end of the day the GM's will be very honest with you and are very much concerned with your well being. If you are driven, competitive and capable of being organized this job could certainly be for you.

    Cons

    If you aren't organized and fail to set personal goals you likely wont make it. You aren't supposed to work in wholesaling for a couple years if you leave. But trust me, I have seen the competition, and if you leave it will be because wholesaling just isn't for you, not because another wholesale firm is more desirable. As far as this field goes, New Western is the place to be.
