    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at New York DMV (Flushing, NY) in May 2015.

    Interview

It was part of a city held program called SYEP (Summer Youth Employment Program). It targets 16 to 21 year olds who have June to August off (a total of eight weeks) and is intended to give work experience for those who might not be able to find a job on the regular market. The process was pretty standard, submit an application form, go to the employer of your choosing (mine happened to be the DMV), and then just tell them of your interest in joining their place for the summer. Very easy because no one really wanted to work at the DMV, haha...

    Interview Questions

    • Have you ever been to the DMV? (Once again, this was a program intended to literally hand our jobs, so everything was extremely easy)   Answer Question
