    Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at New York Supreme Court (Brooklyn, NY) in April 2015.

    Interview

All applications are submitted by mail (information on the website for who to send it to), and the department calls to set up an interview. Dress in a professional manner - they expect jackets or suits. You're asked to wait in a large conference room where attorneys are waiting to be called for their cases - very austere atmosphere. Some positions require a typing test and they use Word Perfect. Everyone I've spoken to was very professional and extremely polite.

    Interview Questions

    • Most have to do with past and current experience, but some are insights into who you are as a person. Be prepared to answer things like "Describe yourself in one word" and things of that nature.   1 Answer
