IT was very open and friendly environment until merging with NetScout. Now it's all about efficiency and numbers. Management is open and willing to listen if they know you. Will submit and sponsor non citizens.
Now it is very rigit and corporate setting with minimum interest in employees except for higher ups. Hire on contract to easily decrease overhead once project criteria are met.
Advice to Management
value employees including engineers that have sound advice. I had to regularly advice management on what to change and improve as they would not listen to low level employees.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Newfield Wireless.

1 Main interview
Recruiter called, screening questions and then the manager. Few technical question and few aptitude question. Nothing complex. All basic. Asked about traveling availability and few other question like finding out logs of some numbers. Remind you that it is a temporary position and promise you that you will be saving good money.
