I have been working at NextEra Energy, Inc. full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people, exceptional leadership with complete transparency. Tuition reimbursement, and Charity matching. Pays up to $500 for logging 125 volunteer hours. Gyms on site most buildings if not gym memberships are partially paid. Lots of room for growth

    Cons

entry level positions are not as technical as i would like, but that's just my preference. The safety culture can be overwhelming if you don't like people reminding you how to walk and go down stairs but its understandable because the company as a whole has some jobs that require that type of safety protocols.

    Advice to Management

Performance reviews and raises seem to depend more on company performance rather than individual performance. The pay could be more competitive.

    Interview

First round phone screening with HR rep, basic questions about background. He moved me through to the hiring manager at the plant I would be working at. Scheduled a phone interview with the plant manager, and was told I would hear back in a few weeks. About 3 weeks later, I got a call saying I got the job.
