I have been working at NextStep Technology full-time

    Pros

A small company, which makes for great communication up and down the ladder, and everyone is very responsive. Everyone is very knowledgeable and understanding, which makes training very easy.

There is a lot of room for job growth, and finding a 'direction' where your interests/strengths are. Very supportive in finding your strengths and working on any areas that you see fit.

Leadership is very dedicated and committed to their work and very involved in every step of the project process. There is a high attention to detail and making sure the process goes smoothly.

    Cons

Things can be fast paced, depending on how many projects are in the pipeline and deadlines that line up.

    Advice to Management

Keep setting the bar high and the attention to detail!

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at NextStep Technology (San Jose, CA) in September 2012.

    Interview

I met with the company principles over two days to see the operations and get to know them personally. We met at the office and spent the day reviewing past performance, current projects and opportunity pipeline. I then joined them at a quarterly board meeting where short and long term forecasts were discussed.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

The negotiation phase was very simple. They made an offer I found acceptable and I did not counter.
