I left a publicly-traded PEO in 1996 with a dream of doing it differently. Pros
My experience at Nextep has been more than amazing. It has truly been a blessing. As I was searching for a position, I did not believe I would find a company like this. The corporate HR Director, my Director and the Executive Team at Nextep have displayed kindness and professionalism throughout the hiring process and my time here. Nextep truly cares about their employees and their well-being.
Nextep provides an incredible culture centralized around talent. We have the best of the best here. Nothing stays still, every day is challenging and an opportunity to learn something new. It is refreshing to have an opportunity to make an impact on smaller businesses.
Cons
I think there are areas of improvement for every organization and the fact that leadership takes the time to conduct an employee survey and improve based on those results are fantastic. I honestly don’t have any cons.
Advice to Management
Thank you for everything! Nextep has been an absolute blessing to me and my family. I am truly excited to see what the future holds as we grow and I am so thankful to be a part of the Nextep family!

Application
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Nextep in August 2013.
Interview
Initial interview on the phone with recruiter in the beginning of the week, she asked about sales experience, skills, etc. Very generic job interview questions. Went well. She said she'd let me know by the next day if they would like to schedule an in person interview. She called before 11AM the next day and asked me to come in for an interview on Thursday of this week. The in person interview was very quick and also pretty generic. No difficult questions. Just a sell yourself type interview.
