    I have been working at Nextep full-time (Less than a year)


    Before I came to Nextep, I never knew I could love a job so much. This is the second company I have worked for and the differences are night and day. I thought I worked at a good company before because they offered a generous benefits package. But there is so much more to it than that. At Nextep I am happy to come to work, and most importantly I am happy when I come home from work. I can honestly say there has never been a day where I have questioned my job or Nextep. The people and culture are beyond amazing. The support I have been shown by both leadership and peers has been enormous, and there is always a sense of excitement around for what comes next. There are so many opportunities for us to volunteer and give back to the community. Since I started I've had the opportunity to volunteer at the Myriad Gardens Pumpkinville and Ronald McDonald House (and get paid for it)! As any company does, we have our crazy busy time of year, but Nextep does everything they can to make it easy on us. From catering lunch, snack carts, themed days, and movies and other activities to give us a break from the stress. We always tell our new hires, "Welcome to the greatest place on Earth", and we mean it.


    I honestly can't think of one.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work! And keep up the committees. I think part of the reason we all love it so much is because we have a say in what goes on around here.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nextep (Norman, OK) in October 2017.


    Once I applied for the position, one of the Senior Recruiters reached out to me and asked me a few questions about how I heard about the position, what interested me about the position and the company, and when I would be available for a phone interview.
    Within the next few days, I completed the phone interview which was a fairly high-level interview regarding my sales experience, career milestones, and qualifications. The job was described a little bit more in detail, and I was told that I was moving on to the next phase.
    The next step was an at-home video interview, where there were 10 questions recorded by different Nextep team members. The interview was at-your-own-pace, however there were limits on answer time and the number of times you could respond to the question. This was a fun chance to "see" some of the people who I could work with, and the questions seemed aimed at getting to know personality and behavior.
    Several days after submitting, I was notified that I would have an interview with who would be my boss - the Regional Sales Manager. This interview went well, and it was focused on my qualifications for the job based on my track record in sales, what I knew about Nextep, and my personality. I was told in the interview that I would be moving on to a final interview with executives - the VP of Sales and the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.
    A few days later, I interviewed with the VP of Sales, who focused again on my credentials in sales and how well I would fit in at Nextep.

    It was a really great interview process. You can tell from the very beginning that Nextep places an immense amount of weight on the people they hire - the recruiters encourage you, give you help preparing for the interviews so that you can focus on letting personality and qualifications shine through. I was certainly honored to receive an offer and to join the team!
