Nextiva – Why Work With Us?

Nextiva is an Arizona-based business communications company on a mission to help businesses grow. We were founded by Tomas Gorny in 2006 with the vital goal to revolutionize a 100-year old industry.  We have been recognized on the Deloitte Tech Fast500 list three years in a row as a fast growing technology company in Arizona.

We have embraced Amazing Service® from the beginning and we consider this culture critical to our success. By cultivating an environment of innovation, we welcome the difficult task of transforming our industry, which historically has been overpriced, overcomplicated, and has created hostile customer relationships. Through product innovation and a customer-first mindset, our unique approach has led to our success.

People are our most valuable asset and the key to our success. We seek people that lead by working with dedication, integrity, ambition, and passion.  Between bagel Mondays, themed culture days, team activities, and free lunch Fridays, each week is a new adventure.  Learn more about our culture.

Embrace Amazing Service®

Amazing Service® is our core founding value, and is of great importance at Nextiva.  Our team goes the extra mile to help our customers, and we go the extra mile to keep our team super happy.  We believe in providing Amazing Service® – to each other and to our customers. I have been working at Nextiva full-time (Less than a year)

It's easy to work for a company with "good" leaders, but at Nextiva they really do care. If they see you fall down you have multiple hands outstretched to pick you back up. I've been at Nextiva just shy of a full year and I can genuinely say I've learned more than I ever thought possible. Aside from selling an amazing product I've learned that no person is too small to make a difference. Each idea is taken into consideration no matter your title. I find that to be extremely special. Working in a sales role, of course, is naturally fast-paced but they keep it fun. Constantly giving opportunities for prizes, games, and food galore. I'd recommend Nextiva's product any day of the week, but I'm a true advocate of our Amazing Culture.

In the almost full year I've bee at Nextiva, the biggest con I'd have to say is the line for lunch every Friday. BEWARE of the foodies.

    Advice to Management

Keep staying positive and being an excellent example of the type of leader every employee should be. A title may give you the identity of a higher authority, but it takes true integrity to be a great leader.

    Average Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Nextiva (Scottsdale, AZ) in September 2018.

It began formally. A tour of the 3 leveled building. It was very warm and inviting. Natural lighting flooding the floors while upbeat poppy music kept the busy hum of the sales floor fun and electric. We sat in a room and the conversations began to flow. I'm not sure if I just got lucky but the gentleman that interviewed waved away my nervous and we talked like old friends.
