Mission: Saving the world's water through everyday ingenuity.
Niagara Conservation was certified as a GREAT PLACE TO WORK! Check it out at http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQzXI
For some companies, conservation is a pleasant byproduct—a feather in the cap for “corporate responsibility.”
At Niagara, it’s the very first thing on our list. It’s a simple equation: Without water, there is no life. And our supply—both locally and globally—is getting smaller by the minute. For us, this isn’t just a job. It’s a mission. The flip side is, we also like inventing stuff. So, if we can apply our imagination and technical skills to something that actually benefits the planet?…Win/win!
We think hard, dream big, and engineer for the future. We design for beauty, build for longevity, and test like there’s no tomorrow. And we’re always looking for smart, passionate people to join our team.
The way we figure it, the more brains the better.

We Know It’s Not Very Original, But It All Started In A Garage...
Our founder, Bill Cutler, is what you could call an obsessive tinkerer. As a champion of water conservation long before it was cool, that obsession often turned to the showerhead. “Why should something so simple be so wasteful?”
That curiosity soon grew into an all-consuming quest to build the greatest water-saving product in history. Bill quickly began to accumulated dozens, even hundreds, of showerheads in his home garage to explore their inner-workings. All that tinkering paid off in 1977, when he developed the first Niagara showerhead—a watershed moment in every day conservation.
Forty years later, that scrappy, one-man operation has grown into a multi-million-dollar organization. The Niagara name has become synonymous with innovative conservation for a growing customer base of utility companies, government leaders, energy management officials, and eco/cost-conscious homeowners and developers.
Today—as climate change, population growth, and record droughts present an unprecedented strain on our water supply—we are more obsessed than ever. Niagara is doubling down on our purpose and pushing our technology to invent new ways for our customers to conserve water without sacrificing performance

I can honestly say that I believe 120% in what Niagara Conservation stands and strives for. I've been here for 6 years and love the people I work with and the conservation efforts Niagara has made. We stand behind our product and have a dedicated Customer Service and Sales staff to help promote this. Everbody wins when dealing with Niagara Conservation: our customers, end users and especially Mother Earth.
I started here as a temp supervising a customer service team for a special program we were running, fast forward 6 years later and I now manage Customer Service for all of Niagara and I'm also the International Sales Rep. I recently was awarded a certificate of appreciation for work performance and making a continuous commitment to Niagara Conservation.
I have been working at Niagara Conservation full-time (Less than a year)
The people at Niagara are friendly, supportive and great to work with. I felt welcomed from day one and continue to be supported by my immediate team as well as the company as a whole.
There is almost always some type of food to be had. Fresh fruit every Monday and breakfast on Friday with holiday parties and other events sprinkled all over.
I think they may be trying to fatten me up for Thanksgiving.
Advice to Management
Continue to hire good people and support them.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Niagara Conservation (Cedar Knolls, NJ) in November 2008.
I was recruited to Niagara. After passing a phone interview and a review of my sales accomplishments from my current employer I was offered a position with the company.
No negotiations. Salary and commission structure or nothing.
