I worked at Nicholson Construction Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I met a lot of amazing people while working at Nicholson. Some positions involve travel but some administrative positions only travel maybe once or twice a year. The kinds of projects they work on are exciting and people love sharing what they do.

    Cons

There is a disconnect between satellite office and the main office in Pennsylvania. There's a good chance that you'll work with people whom you will never see in person. They were addressing some of the problems with the main office not knowing what was going on at satellite office around the time I left Nicholson.

    Advice to Management

I hope you have continued the progress you made regarding improving communications between offices

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Nicholson Construction Company (Pittsburgh, PA) in January 2014.

    Interview

Easy going. No real stress in the process. Just applied online and got a response rather quickly. Sat down with management and talked about my past experience. Got a call back in a week or two. Everyone was great to talk with and had a lot of feedback on the matter.

    Interview Questions

    • Prior experience, type of projects worked on, who I knew in the industry, type of software used for bidding and management of work. No real curve-balls.   Answer Question
