I worked at Niemann Foods full-time
They are not satisfied with the status quo. They are always looking at new formats, ideas, and opportunities.
Way too many double standards. What can't be done in one store is no problem in another. Corporate department Directors have big heads. If you upset one of them, you are done for. You are told they want to hear your opinions but they actually just want to hear you agree with them and tell them how great of a job they are doing to make their heads even bigger. Anything less than that and you are dirt under their feet.
Advice to Management
There are two sides to everything. Your corporate people are not always right and they can and do let their emotions get in the way of fair judgement.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Niemann Foods (Springfield, IL) in January 2016.
Overall they are quite nice, everything seemed fine when the interview process began. The woman who interviewed me asked a lot of usual questions and asked a few about my personal life and why I would want to have the job. They like to have people be interested in their company so I would suggest bring a few questions to ask them while they interview you.
