Noblis offers a comprehensive selection of benefits to employees, including medical, vision, dental, long- and short-term disability, retirement plans, and more. Our benefits package includes:

Affordable Premiums
Affordable Premiums for Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans

Noblis employees have experienced no increases in medical rates for three straight years. We offer Flexible Spending Accounts as well as three subsidized medical plans that provide comprehensive coverage for hospitalization, surgery, routine office visits, and prescription drugs. There are no pre-existing condition exclusions on the plans. We also offer voluntary dental care and vision plans.

Retirement Program

One of the most significant benefits of working at Noblis is the retirement program, which offers the option of pre-tax or after-tax contributions and the choice of many investment options. Outstanding features of the program include flexibility to change contribution rates and investment funds at any time. Noblis provides substantial matching contributions to all participants. Noblis is committed to helping our employees achieve retirement security by offering on-site appointments with retirement counselors, investment seminars, annual retirement planning projections and data, and other retirement planning tools.

Generous Paid Time Off

Eligible employees are provided with a generous, flexible, fully vested Paid Time Off (PTO) program based on years of service at Noblis. Enrollment in the PTO cash-out program is available annually (subject to minimum balances).

Life Insurance
Ample Life Insurance

As a Noblis employee, you are automatically enrolled in basic term life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at two times your annual base salary--double what many companies offer. You may purchase supplemental coverage at group rates from one to five times your annual base salary. While traveling on business for Noblis, you are provided with business travel accident coverage.

Long and Short Term Care
Long- and Short-Term Disability

Short term disability may be used for a personal injury or illness for up to 25 weeks for a documented disability that extends for more than seven consecutive calendar days. This includes 100 percent paid leave for up to 6 weeks and 75 percent up to 6 months. Our long-term disability program provides income replacement for a disability that exceeds 180 days. Benefits equal 60 percent of your base monthly salary.

Leave Sharing
Leave Sharing Program

Noblis’ Leave Sharing Program (LSP) is a pool of donated Paid Time Off (PTO) that can be used by eligible employees who have exhausted their accrued PTO, but need time off to care for their medical needs or the serious health conditions of their immediate family members.

Education Assistance
Educational Assistance

To encourage further education in ways that will enhance your work at Noblis, tuition reimbursement for work-related courses is available. The program reimburses up to two courses per semester for graduate studies and up to three courses per semester for undergraduate studies. Application, registration, laboratory, and graduation fees are paid at 100 percent.

Credit Union
Credit Union

Noblis partners with Hanscom Federal Credit Union to give employees access to lower interest rates on loans, higher rates on savings accounts, free network ATM transactions, and much more.

Telecommuting Program

Since 2000 Noblis has had a telecommuting program. This popular program gives staff flexibility and contributes to a work/life balance that our makes employees happier and more productive. Participation in this program is subject to manager approval.

Flexible Work Schedule

Noblis’ core hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Through the Flexible Work Schedule, you can create your own schedule that allows more of a balance between work and family life.

ID Theft
ID Theft Assistance

You and your household family members are provided with an Identity Theft recovery program to assist if your identities are compromised in any way.

Employee Referral Program
Employee Referral Program

Eligible Noblis employees can receive up to $2,500 for referrals that lead to hiring new full-time employees.

WMATA SmarTrip Transit Program

Noblis is a corporate participant in the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Transit Program. Through this program, employees are reimbursed for the purchase of a SmartTrip card that allows payment for transit expenses through pre-tax employee contributions.

On-Site Food Options

The Atrium in our Reston office offers the Open Market with grab, pay, and go food and beverage options and café style seating. There is also an onsite restaurant called the Olive Express.

Employees, spouses, dependent children, parents, and parents-in-law have access to Health Advocate, a national advocacy and assistance company that helps members navigate the healthcare system and address healthcare and insurance-related issues including obtaining approvals for covered services, dealing with claims denials and billing issues, finding specialists, negotiating fees, helping with Medicare questions, and aiding with eldercare issues.

    I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Noblis.


    They came to my school on a few different occasions (career fair, club meeting, hackathon, ect.) so I had the opportunity to meet people who worked there a couple times. I applied through my schools career services website and heard back in about a week to come in for an interview. The interview was pretty basic, they just asked questions about my resume and then gave me a tour of the office. I heard back a couple weeks after that that they were offering me an internship.
