    Pros

great people to work with, flat organization where people are actively discussing for the clients values, and decent payment and promotional opportunities.

    Cons

hard to maintain good work balance, challenging to expand overseas and limited careers opportunities if you seek for rotations among multiple locations.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Nomura Research Institute.

    Interview

Phone Screen followed by panel interview. Hiring manager read from a list of canned questions, HR manager observed silently, Senior Manager looked like he'd eaten a wasp and complained being overworked occasionally. Primary focus seemed to be timekeeping and showcasing McGregor Theory X management preference.

    Interview Questions

    • We expect people to be here at 8am sharp every day without exception and to stay until at least 5:30pm. Working week is a minimum of 45 hours but usually more. If that fine?   Answer Question
    • We have frequent calls with Asia and they are all taken here in the office in person. We're considering possibly using Skype in the future, but for now all calls must take place here. They can be at 8 or 9pm - can you do that?   Answer Question
