Mission: We help people around the world enjoy healthier lives through better nutrition and exercise.
I worked at Noom full-time (More than a year)
Lower management was accessible, knowledgeable and personable!
Work is rewarding but demanding
Training provided and tools provided
Workplace and content experiments ongoing during work, so little to no consistency on what to expect
Over-abundance of communication leads to confusion over protocol/importance
Advice to Management
Less experimentation with live, current users
More concise emails--- no idea where to find important information
More structured and solid changes in the company and culture. Changes were announced with little warning, and with a lot of confusion. Life-changing changes were announced to staff with little to no prior preparation, leading to confusion and a need for constant updates.
I applied online. I interviewed at Noom.
I was contacted right away to set up a phone interview. When the time came we scheduled, I waited for the call which never came so I contacted the recruiter to see what happened. Another interview was set up and during that time the call came 30 minutes late. I got an email the company was choosing to go a different route, which is fine. However, when I responded thanking them for their time and asked what they were looking for so I know for the future no one ever got back to me. The experience was a little unprofessional.
