North American Dental Group will redefine dentistry. Children from impoverished families have a much higher rate of tooth decay because of limited or no access to oral health care. The problem goes well beyond these little mouths. It also puts them at significant risk for impaired cognitive and social development, creates educational disparities and creates a path for a lifetime of embarrassment associated with dental disease.
We can do better to deliver the life changing care these children deserve. Compassion is at the core of what we do day in and day out. Smile with a Heart is our way of putting that compassion further into action. Smile with a Heart focuses on serving the needs of uninsured children in our surrounding communities. To those children who lack health insurance we provide free dental care – the lifechanging care these children deserve.
Our ability to address the needs of our communities rely on the rallying cry of our clinical leaders. This is why Smile with a Heart is a dentist-led initiative. Every dentist in our network is empowered and expected to make a difference in areas where we are fortunate to have practices. I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at North American Dental Group (Alliance, OH) in January 2018.
The interview process was very efficient and the atmosphere was friendly. I felt it was very laid back, which help put me at ease. Everyone I met with was also very professional.
