I have been working at North Carolina Department of Revenue full-time (More than a year)
My co-workers are great. There is job security. Good health insurance and you can take a leave of absense without the risk of losing your job. Very friendly human resources department
Poor management and horrible team leaders. Too much work for an understaffed division particularly in customer service. The other locations are not held to perform at high standard but Raleigh is.
Advice to Management
You need to listen to your employees when there are issues and treat employees fairly. You need to actually resolve conflict and everyone needs to be on the same page.
I applied online. I interviewed at North Carolina Department of Revenue.
Phone interview initially. Then in person with the director of department and manager. Overall interview was a little over one hour. During the interview a was given scenarios, after the interview the director walked me around the department. Professional staff.
