    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Northampton County Public Schools full-time (More than 3 years)

The school has slowly been improving over the years I've taught here.

High poverty level area. Isolated, tight-knit community with a distinct culture all it's own. Lax administration -nepotism is rampant. Procedures do not get followed through as they should by administrators. The school ends a new building, there has been asbestos in the school, and severe structural cracks in the walls and foundation.

    Advice to Management

Be consistent, and focus on accountability. Get things done quickly, and don't change what you say you will carry out. There's a couple administrators with no backbone.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Northampton County Public Schools (Eastville, VA) in July 2011.

Submit your paperwork to HR, and they will call on whether or not you have an interview.

If you get an interview, it will be with the superintendent or principal of the schools. The interview is very short, and if you are a local, they am would be more likely to hire you.
