Have you considered becoming an Emergency Medical Technician and don't know where to start? Northwest Ambulance hosts our own in-house EMT Academy which provides all necessary training and skills to prepare you to take the National Registry exam and become a certified EMT. Academy students are paid $19 per hour for 40 hours a week of in-class lectures, skills, and study time. After our students pass the NREMT, EMT wages begin at $23 and they step into full time employment as certified EMTs. Enrollment for our EMT Academy is open today until June 30, 2023 for a class start date of August 2, 2023. Applications will open again for the next Academy in the fall - check our website for additional information.
