    Pros

Northwestern is a top-tier school with world renowned research programs. The pay is not huge, but the experience and the opportunities you get are invaluable. Working as a research assistant in your undergrad you can get your name on a scientific journal publication, get a recommendation letter from a professor with a name in your field.

    Cons

Low pay, but it is somewhat sufficient to sustain yourself in the area

The interview process was normal. There was a phone interview and a panel interview. The process wasn't long and the questions were relevant. Review the job description & you should be fine.
