I have been working at Nous Group full-time (Less than a year)
great location in the heart of the city and hours are also good but some days will be long. have made some genuine friends here. there are a lot of great values but they aren't lived.
performance management is disgusting. although things look ok on the surface they aren't. supporting senior managers who treat you like dirt and HR are most definitely not there to help you in any way, although will tell you different. If you end up supporting a manager who bullies you on a daily basis and makes your life hell and you have no where to turn don't think about contacting "HR" because it means you're out on as soon as is feasibly possible. most people think they have to walk around giving you negative and 'some' positive advice because they aren't meeting their KPI's. this ends up with staff in meeting rooms in tears but coming out all smiles for fear that people might think they can't cope. this is also seen as a negative. There are some very overly fake people working here. beware of them if you end up accepting one of their low paid roles.
Advice to Management
HR needs to ramp up their care factor and support their lower level staff who they don't treat well. sort problems out rather than covering them up. Act sincere rather than being completely fake and you'll get more respect from your employees.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Nous Group in December 2013.
At first, it was a phone interview, but it had to be rescheduled to a Skype interview since the line was very choppy and the recruiter couldn't hear me. She was very nice during the whole interview process. it was still the preliminary phone interview, but it gave a clear indication that the company was very open and friendly.
