Make a difference in the world, hire great people, terrific technology, important product, big goal, flexible work environment to help balance work/life
Challenging market, hard to raise money. Need clear manufacturing strategy. That's all I have to say for cons. It's wrong to make people make up stuff.
Advice to Management
Keep the faith
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NovaTorque (Sunnyvale, CA) in December 2009.
I was referred to management by an inside contact, which eventually led to an interview. I interviewed, in person, with various members of the company ranging from the immediate supervisor to the founder and CEO. In total, there were three interviews. The interviews were, generally, short-notice, but they were willing to be flexible.
I felt that the work culture is one of excitement about a growing, innovative start-up.
Reasons for Declining
I was offered a position with a different company that more closely matches my ultimate goals.
