I have been working at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research full-time (More than 3 years)
Great people, challenging and interesting science, benefits, work / life balance.
Not enough opportunities to collaborate with outside experts, no budget for travel to conferences/meeting, very difficult to publish & patent
Advice to Management
Innovation opportunities, investing in new cutting edge technologies is slow and desease area dependent.
I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (Cambridge, MA) in March 2017.
Took 1-2 months to receive email about preliminary interview after applying. After was brought in for a second round of interviews with ~15 people in the lab which lasted 3 hours. Then had lunch with the lab and was shown the facilities. Took another month to receive denial of offer.
