    Positive Outlook

I worked at Novatek part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management was flexible as to what hours you could work during the day while I was in school. During the summer they required a typical 9-5 schedule. Good pay, good flex spending plan.

    Cons

At the beginning we were told we could use money in our flex spending account to pay for tuition expenses but we were told later that we couldn't.

    Advice to Management

Be honest about paying for tuition.

    Application

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Novatek.

    Interview

The interview was really casual. I went in a suit, but felt a little out of place as everyone else in the building was dressed very casually, so I think it would be fine just going in a collared shirt and maybe a tie for the interview. The questions were pretty general and had to do more with my interests rather than my experience. I think mostly they just want to know that you are a normal person and won't be difficult to work with around the office for any extended length of time.

I wasn't able to negotiate at all.
