I have been working at Nu Look Home Design full-time (Less than a year)
The company truly values their employees, they are always recognizing hard work and achievements. There is also so much growth potential, if you're a valued employee they truly want you to stay and grow with the company and they give you the tools to achieve it. When I took the job I was nervous about working a commission job but I love it, you get paid what you're worth to the company, so the more you put in the more you get back.
Canvassing isn't for everyone. You need to be self motivated and be able to keep a positive mindset even when things aren't going your way or when you encounter rude people. If you can't say that about yourself you will fail. But as long as you want to do well there are so many people willing to help you and help you succeed.
The benefits package could be better, but I know they are working on it.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you're doing! Communication between departments (telemarketing, marketing, and sales) is crucial, but I've seen how everyone is trying to come together to work out the bugs in the system.
Also the benefits aren't all that great, so that might help with retention.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nu Look Home Design (Glen Burnie, MD) in January 2016.
It was a no pressure experience. I felt like I was conversing with a friend. I enjoyed the laughs along with the serious conversation. It helped ease the anxiety during an interview. The management gave great descriptions of the job, so you knew what you were looking to get into.
