Mission: Our Mission is to maximize our employees’ potential in order to deliver high-technology Engineering Services and Products, thereby achieving unsurpassed excellence in both client satisfaction and business results.
Each year, a prestigious award is given out by our President, Jeff Wells, to honor one employee who demonstrates growth, perseverance, and dedication to NuWaves in the previous year. There is a different theme chosen for each year of the President’s Award. The 2017 award theme is Ownership. There are many descriptions that can define the word Ownership. However, at NuWaves, Ownership represents every thread of our culture and values. Not only does it mean taking pride in your work and taking responsibility for your projects and team, but it also describes how one accomplishes this. John Greene has been a Project Manager with NuWaves since 2016. In 2017, he displayed determination, drive, and passion to do excellent work and to deliver results. Without hesitation, he stepped up, taking ownership of all of the demands of running projects. He respectfully works cross-domain, enabling consistent communication for maximum success. He is a role model for his peers and is dedicated to succeeding. We are proud to have him as a part of our talented team!
What being a Veteran-Owned Small Business means at NuWaves!
A caring group of patriots founded the veteran-owned NuWaves Ltd. in 2000, providing advanced Radio Frequency (RF) expertise and microwave solutions for military, government, and industrial customers. Headquartered in southwest Ohio, NuWaves Engineering provides quick-tempo design and engineering services that address today’s most demanding RF challenges, especially with regard to hardware size, weight and power (SWaP) reduction, cost and – oftentimes equally important – schedule. NuWaves Engineering is an undisputed leader in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration, sustainment, and modernization of complex RF systems.
As a leader in providing RF solutions, the majority of NuWaves Engineering’s business comes from the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. federal government agencies, and D.o.D. prime contractors. The majority of our remaining business comes from commercial domestic sales to companies working in a variety of industries and applications, from Industrial Mining, Agriculture, Transportation, Communications, Space, and many more. Take a look at our Markets & Applications to learn more about the industries and customers we serve.
Our employees subscribe to these Core Values:
Why we exist: We are “Driven to advance your mission.”
Who we are: We “Engineer a lasting partnership.”
Recruiting: Be “Challenged to achieve excellence.”
What we do: “Maximize RF capability and readiness.”
How we do it: With a “Full spectrum of solutions.”
NuWaves offers a competitive benefits package that rivals or exceeds what larger companies can provide. We provide this outstanding package because we value our employees and the pivotal role they play in helping us achieve our tactical and strategical goals.
We are passionate about providing concept to production solutions for the U.S. Military. That means we are looking for individuals who possess a quick-tempo mentality, and an attitude that drives results. I have been working at NuWaves Engineering part-time
-Good work-life balance.
-Great co-workers and friendly work environment
-"NuWaves University" program helps focus on employee personal and professional growth.
-As a small firm it can sometimes feel like there isn't much room for advancement.
I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at NuWaves Engineering (Middletown, OH) in March 2011.
Very nice informal review. Simply looked over the work I had done, asked a few questions. Very nice people. None of the stupid put you on the spot questions. They just analyze your technical background and how you solve problems. So a very nice interview for anyone well qualified. This company is a technical company and your interview will be with well seasoned design engineers, so don't expect to baffle them with bs...it won't work. Instead present what you have done technically and be an ease as they are very nice people to deal with.
They offer an excellent salary. No sweat.
