Nuna Reviews

Pros
Nuna is a 10-year old startup. We spent a lot of time learning how not to do things, but have the will, leadership, and backing to realize the full potential of delivering a comprehensive Value Based Care (VBC) solution. Nuna has grown quickly in a fairly new and untapped market, and in the process shown that VBC is solvable. We have some of the best new talent, excellent benefits (and perks), and a top-tier leadership team. I could not be more excited to be part of a company that values both its mission and people, and I believe I have the leadership team provides one of the greatest opportunities for learning that I've had in my entire career.
Cons
With rapid growth in a generally new industry comes significant risk. To that effect, Nuna recently went through an unfortunate RIF. The CEO and leadership team were truly disappointed that it came to that. Unfortunately, I also believe that's a part of growth (especially in tech), and we learn from our mistakes. And, while no RIF is an enjoyable experience, it was handled with the utmost care and concern for impacted employees than any previous one I have been through (6 in total). They offered generous separation packages, counseling, and legal access to facilitate individuals that required Visa support; and furthermore they opened communication channels and opportunities through recruiters and other high-caliber resources in order to assist connected impacted individuals with new job opportunities. The culture at Nuna is a little bit challenging. It's a junior Engineering group (although very talented) and it's a junior company with a "tumultuous upbringing". Now we're hitting puberty and that comes with some rough patches.
