I have been working at OLIVER Agency full-time (Less than a year)

I haven't come across a bad person yet.

Everyone actually knows what they're doing, so even when work can get stressful, it's only because there's a lot to do and not because you have to hold anyone's hand while they try to figure out what to do.

Free candy/espresso every day, and every few days, cookies/donuts are brought in.

Can work from home if you absolutely have to (although working in office is the requirement).

    Casual dress.

People of all ages work here, so if you're more experienced, you're not entirely surrounded by recent graduates and you won't feel awkward.

Starbucks and Hale & Hearty connected to the building.

For some, the downtown location is a far commute, but office is close to subways.

The office is on the small side, but they're apparently going to move to a bigger downtown office soon.

Espresso offered, but not coffee, if you prefer coffee.

Sometimes you have to work past 6 o'clock, without overtime, but that's just the nature of the marketing/studio field.

    Advice to Management

Do whatever you can to make sure we don't have to work past 6. Obviously, things can sometimes come up at the last minute, but if late nights can be avoided, a bunch of us would love that.

    Assistant Account Manager Interview

Anonymous Employee in New York, NY

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied through other source. I interviewed at OLIVER Agency (New York, NY) in April 2017.

I had an initial call with the Head of Recruitment to discuss open opportunities. Once we focused on the Assistant Account Manager role, she asked me about my relevant experiences and work with clients/vendors. I was then invited to interview with the COO and an Account Manager in the NYC HQ. Both conversations were informal and lasted for 30 minutes. The interviews focused on my background, OLIVER's model and the day-to-day of the role. I later spoke with the Implementation Lead. Everyone was friendly, transparent and professional. I received daily updates from the Head of Recruitment regarding where I was in the process. It was a very straight forward process that reflected well of the culture.
