I’ve been working in healthcare for 14 years- the majority of it is ER experience and I am strongly considering learning a new skillset such as Vascular Technologist. I am a single mom with little to no support and would love to work a Monday-Friday job with no weekends or holidays so that I can explore having more of a work-life integration and be with my baby girls. Moreover, I would also like to increase my salary as well. Any suggestions….?

Has anyone pivoted from working a clinical role, to tech or healthcare tech? Or anything OTHER then medical? I’ve been working in this industry for 7 years & to say Im burnt out is an understatement. It’s simply not fulfilling to me anymore. I feel guilty even saying it! Everything from the lack of resources/access for pts, the pt to MD load, chronic staffing issues, long hours, over worked, underpaid…etc etc. CV19 has worsened all these issues and I’m not to hopeful that it will change. :(

Currently in search of a new healthcare related job within the Virginia Area and over the last 10 years i have accumulated Program Management, Project Management, Practice Management, Healthcare Informatics experience. Unfortunately most of the positions are asking for a nursing degree and my degrees are in Health Science and Public Health. Any ideas on other job titles I can try applying for?
