I worked at Oceans Apart Management as a contractor (More than a year)
interesting recruitment process but sometimes good use of an overly technical and hard to understand profile tool that only the President understands.
where do I start...this was the weirdest, most dysfunctional, uncomfortable and frustrating place to work and leader to work for - do not work here if you have any other options!
Advice to Management
stop selling the kool-aid to good people with good jobs
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Oceans Apart Management in March 2012.
Headhunter contacted me through linked in and set up an initial phone interview..basically asked about previous employment experience and reasons for leaving. Gave a little information about the anonymous employer and asked to go into their office for in person interview. The headhunter didn't reveal name of employer I was interviewing for. Asked about past work experience, what is your hobbies, what kind of employer do you NOT like to work for, how are you at working under pressure, what do you do to relieve pressure
