 Celebrity Strategy

Celebrity strategy begins with WHY, HOW and WHEN, then WHO. We start by defining/prioritizing program objectives, understanding brand attributes and determining the tactics of the program. We then discuss celebrity value vs. budget while identifying an initial talent list. We conduct research, competitive analysis and do our due diligence on talent candidates to make sure we are using the best person for any given program. Once we have selected the ideal talent for a program, we will negotiate on behalf of the brand in order to receive the best deal possible while including all necessary service items. Finally, we manage the program throughout its execution, and report key learnings and best practices back to the client.

Insights

Our insights into sports, entertainment and culture are rooted in data and enhanced through experience. Our global team taps into a wide range of proprietary and syndicated data to unearth insights that drive portfolio and activation strategies. We are so dedicated to finding the right next move for our clients that we’ve created Passion Drivers® to quantify why fans are fans and the Passion Shift™ to understand how interactive fans consume sport across digital, social and mobile.

Measurements

We know that business results are what matters most.  We create custom ROO and ROI frameworks that help our clients access the information necessary to build a business case.  We also build measurement dashboards and post-program analyses that allow our clients to make data-based decisions that help them manage, measure and maximize the return on their sponsorship investment.

Merchandise

We all know by now that where there’s an event, there’s merchandise. We apply our licensing expertise across all major sports and entertainment properties to develop promotional merchandise solutions that increase brand visibility, leverage sponsorships, engage consumers and reward employees.

Today, the traditional boundaries that once defined “targeted marketing” no longer apply. Engaging diverse consumers solely on the basis of race, age, geography, gender identity or socio-economic status is truly a thing of the past.     GREAT people. Employees are proud to work here. You work hard but have fun. The company just rebranded and there is a renewed sense of energy. This is an exciting time to work for Octagon and there is a lot of opportunity to grow and make an impact.
