    Pros

Friendly team and a genuine commitment to culture i.e monthly drinks, monthly superstars, decent events throughout the year. Lots of serious talent in the company, leading to some great creative work. Would highly recommend working at Octopus Group.

    Cons

Top-heavy management structure and some slow internal processes.

    Advice to Management

You’ve created something special with OG - and, as a management board, you’re an approachable, knowledgable bunch. Well done.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Octopus Group.

    Interview

Pretty standard process: 1. Phone interview 2. Face-to-face interview 3. Presentation

While the interviews were quite pleasant, the whole experience turned sour when Octopus informed my current employer that I was interviewing with them, which put me in an incredibly awkward position. When confronted about this completely unprofessional behaviour, they decided to ignore me. DO NOT INTERVIEW HERE unless you don't mind your current employer knowing you're looking for a new job!
