    Industrial Designer Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Okabashi Brands (Atlanta, GA) in June 2015.

    Interview

First interview was with HR. Next, we scheduled an interview with the Designer. After the interview with the Designer I was given a 2 week project in which I was to design a shoe and present it to the Designer. The presentation went so well, and he told me I would hear back in 2 weeks. 4 weeks later Okabashi calls my recruiter and tells them they "are experiencing growing pains and can't hire a new member to their team."

I was incredibly appalled. So many people invested so much time into this process all for nothing. Completely disappointed with the company.

(Supposedly, the next interview an applicant would have is with the CEO.) 4 interviews total
