I have been working at Oklahoma Heart Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)
Flexible scheduling, house resource always available for assistance when needed and best pay in the state for hospital pay. Great benefits!
Very cliquey! If your not in the "In" group your considered a peon. Also if you are a "seasoned" nurse you tend to get the heavier load of patients versus the new graduate nurse that gets the lighter load. 🤔
Advice to Management
To house resource make sure to share the load of the patients fairly. And all employees should be treated the same even if they aren't invited to after work get togethers.
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Oklahoma Heart Hospital (Oklahoma City, OK).
Applied online with resume and application, a couple of weeks later called in for an interview, about a week after that was offered position, then proceeded with back ground check, entire process was about one month
