I worked at Okland Construction full-time (Less than a year)
A few points that I loved about Okland is that they truly stand by their core principles, there's a rich spirit of drive for success and improvement, and they take care of their employees.
At the time that I finished my internship, they weren't in need of another full-time safety officer. I have nothing negative to say about management or the company as a whole.
I applied through other source. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Okland Construction (Salt Lake City, UT).
I did an initial interview with HR and then came down to Salt Lake a month later to do an interview with the VP. Interview was not too difficult but it was thorough. I attended the ASC competition and that was how I landed the interview and internship. They are not intrusive and are just looking for good committed people to hire.
All interns get the same pay, not much in the line of negotiation.
