I worked at Olney-Hamilton Hospital District full-time (More than 5 years)
Small town with local values. Slow pace for the most part, but limited on services available. Cost of living in Olney is extremely reasonable and houses are available.
Lower than average pay, small service with limited growth potential. The typical small town EMS has limited resources to choose from, so pay needs to be higher to retain the personnel that are available.
Advice to Management
Pay for small markets need to be raised to compete with larger markets and growth opportunities.
