OmniCable – Why Work With Us?

Our Story

OmniCable is a master distributor of specialty wire and cable sold exclusively through electrical and electronic distribution. Our 12 locations nationwide can cut and ship material same day for delivery or pickup.  We offer access to our inventory 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our employees are all working towards the same goal, which is our mission statement: To be the best supplier of specialty cable, related products, and services to the electrical wholesale industry while providing our customers, vendors, and employees the absolute best in products, services, and career opportunities.

What We Do

OmniCable stocks specialty wire and cable that electrical distributors often do not inventory. These types of cables come in a wide variety of constructions and sizes. Here at OmniCable, we take master reels of wire and cable and cut them down to size to meet the quantity needs of the electrical distributor.
In addition, OmniCable offers solutions to meet demands for lead times, projects, training, technical assistance, and more.

At OmniCable, we offer a stimulating and diverse work environment with competitive compensation and great benefits.

    Account Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in O'Fallon, MO

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at OmniCable (O'Fallon, MO) in June 2016.

    Interview

I met with the sales manager for my initial interview which went really well. I then received a follow up interview with the district manager. In these interviews I was showed around the building and they each lasted roughly an hour. I was told a decision would come in a week. After not receiving a call, I reached out and was told it would be another week. After more than a week passed I followed up once again and did not receive any response nor ever got a phone call or email regarding the position. This was very disappointing, especially after two long interviews that went seemingly well. I think to not even send an email is poor a business practice.
