I have been working at On Q Financial full-time (More than a year)
I have had a lot of great experiences at On Q Financial, and I got the chance to work with some extremely smart and talented people. I have learned a lot since I was first brought on board several years ago. On Q Financial has a lot of exciting initiatives happening, and a very strong trajectory to accelerate the company within the mortgage industry. It's been really exciting to see a lot of these initiatives come to fruition, and I am very excited to see what's in store for the organization.
If you are a hard worker, and if you truly care about the work you do, there are a ton of opportunities for those who want to improve themselves and the company.
I've also seen a lot of investment in the company culture, which is driven by all of the employees. It's really refreshing to see everyone getting involved with that process.
None really. What could be considered a "Con" to some people could be a "Pro" to others: If you're not willing to challenge yourself or keep up with the fast-paced environment, it may not be the place for you.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at On Q Financial (Scottsdale, AZ) in October 2016.
This interview was more of an interrogation than an interview. I felt that my words were being twisted. Half way through, CEO says there were misspellings in my "Resume". I confirmed that what they were looking at was NOT my resume, and they continued to group-shame me for the next thirty minutes. After continually telling them that I had never even sent my resume to the recruiter to begin with, they still didn't believe me. It was humiliating, embarrassing, and completely unprofessional. For some reason, they still wanted to move forward with the hiring process and I promptly said NO THANKS.
I find it shocking that professionals would ever treat a prospective employee in such a manner. The CEO was completely disrespectful. He greeted me with a donut in his mouth. He was texting throughout the interview, on top of completely berating me while I answered questions. This is my warning to you to steer clear of such a toxic environment. The only thing that makes this better is that their true colors were shown in the interview process, and not after potentially being hired.
