OnPoint Community CU – Why Work For Us?

Opportunities are waiting. Retail positions are at the front line of member engagement. You’ll help members with their banking needs, find solutions to save them money, and help them plan for the future. Positions at our headquarters are vital to creating a great member experience. You’ll help our branch network run smoothly and support our branch team.

OnPoint provides many of the same banking services you’d expect from the nation’s largest banks. But the similarities end there. OnPoint is not-for-profit and member-owned — by over 300,000 of your friends and neighbors. So “profit” doesn’t go to shareholders. Instead, we invest it in our members, our community, and our employees. This commitment to value and quality has made us one of the largest and most respected credit unions in the Northwest. We hope you’ll make us even better.

Call them benefits, or call them perks. We call them investments in our team!
At OnPoint, our team is our most important asset. That’s why our comprehensive benefits package is designed to meet your needs and help you get the most from life.

OnPoint provides many of the same banking services you’d expect from the nation’s largest banks. But the similarities end there. OnPoint is not-for-profit and member-owned — by more than 276,000 of your friends and neighbors.

So “profit” doesn’t go to shareholders. Instead, we invest it in our members, our community, and our staff. This commitment to value and quality has made us one of the largest and most respected credit unions in the Northwest. We hope you’ll make us even better.

We’re local, like you. We grew up in Portland, born in 1932, founded by a small group of public school teachers who believed they could build a better place to bank.

More than seventy years later, our branches span from Eugene to Vancouver, McMinnville to Bend. But we’re still a neighborhood institution at heart — driven by a commitment to serve people and the communities in which they live.

At OnPoint we care about our members, our employees and the communities that we serve. We have a long-standing tradition of investing in our community and believe that giving makes good things happen.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at OnPoint Community CU (Portland, OR).

    Interview

Comfortable, and direct. Very to the point about what is required and what you will be doing in your position if hired. This is the second time I came back to onpoint because I knew it was a great company to work for.
