OneCause was honored with the Pandemic Pivot of the Year Award at the 22nd Annual TechPoint Mira Awards gala. We were also a finalist for Tech Product of the Year and Innovation of the Year. The Pandemic Pivot of the Year recognizes tech employers who responded to the health and economic crisis in remarkable ways to serve societal or customer needs, to seize opportunities created by market demand shifts, or simply to survive amidst difficult challenges. Congratulations to each and every member of Team OneCause. It is because of your passion, relentlessness, and hard work that we were able to help our Fearless Fundraisers through this time. This award is for YOU!

Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I was asked to submit an interview video response to a list of prepared questions. That was then followed up by a video interview with the regional manager. A good bit prep was involved but it was straightforward.

How did you handle an unhappy client or difficult situation in the past?
